L'insegnamento di questematerie deve essere svolto per almeno quaranta ore per ogni annodel secondo biennio e per il quinto anno almeno venti dellequali in compresenza con esperti iscritti ai relativi albi.Ma già arrivano critiche dall'opposizione. Per l'esponentedi Avs Aurora Floridia, si tratta di "un altro disastro firmatodalla Lega, che speriamo venga presto ritirato. Dopo ilfallimentare Liceo Made in Italy, il partito del Carroccio oravuole rendere la formazione liceale più utilitaristica,smantellando il valore universale dato dallo sviluppo di unaforma mentis duttile, analitica e critica, oggi più che mainecessaria nel mondo del lavoro. Questa iniziativa, volta adallineare la scuola a puro mercato del lavoro e lo studente acapitale umano - scandisce la senatrice - rischia di trasformarei licei in ulteriori istituti di formazione professionale. Ilicei sono luoghi di formazione critica e culturale, che offronoun mix di conoscenze, abilità e atteggiamenti indispensabili peraffrontare le sfide del mondo moderno, anche quelle piùcomplesse e tecnologiche. Evidentemente la destra al governo nonne riconosce il valore e vuole appiattire l'offerta formativa ededucativa italiana, invece che puntare sulla diversificazione elo sviluppo di cittadini consapevoli e competenti.
