4%,contro un calo complessivo del tessuto imprenditoriale del 2,2%,con picchi di crescita delle attività guidate da donne (+7,5%) edel turismo (+8,9%). Roma la "capitale" tallonata da Napoli eseguita, a grande distanza, da Venezia. Del resto, è il Lazio laregione più popolata dalle imprese "blu" con 34.851 unità,rincorsa dalla Campania (32.741 imprese) e dalla Sicilia (28.807imprese). Sono in tutto quasi 228 mila nel 2023, piùprecisamente 227.975, le imprese della Blue economy, di questequasi la metà si trova nel Mezzogiorno e il 48,4% opera nelsettore alloggio e ristorazione. È quanto emerge da un'analisidel Centro Studi Tagliacarne sul XII Rapporto dell'Economia delmare realizzato insieme a Unioncamere, Ossermare, Informare,Camera di commercio Frosinone Latina e Blue Forum ItaliaNetwork."La Blue economy delle imprese disegna una sorta di Italiacapovolta in termini di sviluppo, con un Mezzogiorno che invertela tradizionale immagine di area a minore crescita e presenzaimprenditoriale, pur continuando a segnare ritardi dal punto divista della produttività complessiva di quasi il 15% rispetto aldato medio del Paese" spiega Gaetano Fausto Esposito direttoregenerale del Centro Studi Tagliacarne secondo cui "se le impresemeridionali esprimessero la stessa produttività e capacità dicollegamento con gli altri settori produttivi dimostrata daquelle settentrionali il valore aggiunto dell'economia del marecrescerebbe al Sud di circa 15 miliardi di euro".Il 49% delle imprese della Blue economy risiede nel Meridione,ma genera meno di un terzo del valore aggiunto prodottodall'intera economia del mare. Poco meno della metà del "Sistemamare" nazionale è rappresentato da imprese operanti nel settoredei servizi di alloggio e ristorazione che ammontano a 110.387unità. Seguono per numerosità, le attività sportive e ricreative(34.246 imprese) e la filiera ittica (32.199 imprese), con unpeso che si attesta, rispettivamente, al 15,0% ed al 14,1%.Supera il 12% il contributo della filiera cantieristica (28.171imprese).
