domiciliari per violenza sessuale su minore. Il prete non ha risposto alle domande del giudice per le indagini preliminari Milena Catalano. Il giudice ha disposto il trasferimento dell'inchiesta a Savona per competenza territoriale. I primi abusi sarebbero avvenuti a Finale Ligure dove la vittima, che all'epoca aveva appena 12 anni, faceva il chierichetto. Se dovessero emergere episodi precedenti avvenuti a Genova allora l'inchiesta tornerà nel capoluogo ligure. Padre Melis, secondo l'accusa, avrebbe dato soldi, vestiti griffati e sigarette elettroniche alle sue vittime per adescarle e poi abusarne o tentarne l'approccio. In una nota depositata al giudice per le indagini preliminari Milena Catalano i carabinieri hanno scritto che don Andrea Melis "non può stare nella comunità del levante dove la Curia lo ha trasferito perché lì vicino ci sono delle scuole e una scuola di danza". Questo perché sarebbe un “luogo potenzialmente a rischio di reiterazione del reato". I militari fanno intanto appello ai familiari di ragazzini che potrebbero avere subito molestie e abusi dal parroco. Dalle carte sarebbero sette i minori che avrebbero ricevuto le attenzioni morbose del prelato. Intanto gli investigatori hanno scoperto che le sigarette elettroniche che padre Melis regalava potrebbero essere di provenienza illecita visto che hanno un contenuto di nicotina di gran lunga superiore al limite consentito.Il giudice per le indagini preliminari Milena Catalano, che ha disposto per il sacerdote gli arresti domiciliari, ritiene Melis estremamente pericoloso, perché “è portatore di Hiv e ha intrattenuto rapporti senza precauzioni", esponendo la sua vittima "al pericolo". Il minore abusato, tuttavia, non è stato infettato ma se dovessero spuntare casi di persone che hanno contratto il virus dopo essere state con il prete, la procura potrebbe contestare anche le lesioni dolose gravissime. Il parroco è accusato di violenza sessuale su minorenne, prostituzione minorile e tentata violenza aggravata.La difesa dei legali: "E' in cura e non può trasmettere Hiv""Padre Melis - scrivono in una nota gli avvocati Raffaele Caruso e Graziella Delfino, che difendono il sacerdote - vive con un'infezione da Hiv ma la sua situazione è in cura da 12 anni presso l'ospedale San Martino di Genova e da oltre 10 anni la terapia che sta seguendo ha dato esiti positivi, poiché i controlli che periodicamente esegue confermano la non rilevabilità del virus che quindi è totalmente sotto controllo e per l'appunto irrilevante".
