delprogramma TikTok Lite Rewards dall'Ue. Questi impegni sono statipresentati da TikTok per rispondere alle preoccupazionisollevate dalla Commissione nel procedimento formale avviatocontro TikTok il 22 aprile e per garantire la conformità con ilDigital Service Act (Dsa)."La sicurezza e il benessere degli utenti dei social mediadevono essere una priorità assoluta. Le caratteristiche deldesign delle piattaforme con effetti di dipendenza mettono arischio il benessere degli utenti. Per questo motivo abbiamoreso gli impegni di TikTok nell'ambito della Dsa legalmentevincolanti. La decisione di oggi invia anche un chiaro messaggioall'intero settore dei social media", ha sottolineato la vicepresidente della Commissione Ue Margrethe Vestager. "Abbiamoottenuto il ritiro permanente del programma TikTok Lite Rewards,che avrebbe potuto avere conseguenze molto coinvolgenti. La Dsaè in pieno svolgimento", ha aggiunto il commissario ThierryBreton.La decisione odierna rende questi impegni giuridicamentevincolanti, il che significa che qualsiasi violazione degliimpegni equivarrebbe immediatamente a una violazione della Dsa epotrebbe quindi portare a multe. Con questa decisione, laCommissione chiude anche il procedimento formale avviato controTikTok il 22 aprile. "Siamo sempre impegnati a collaborare inmodo costruttivo con la Commissione Ue e con le altre autoritàdi regolamentazione.
