Nel cast del film giganteggia il semisconosciuto Arieh Worthalter, dal volto intenso e dalla straordinaria gestualità ◆ La recensione di BATTISTA GARDONCINI *► Girato in una claustrofobica aula di tribunale, “Il caso Goldman”, del regista francese Cédric Kahn, è un film che con la sola forza dei dialoghi prende per mano lo spettatore, lo appassiona e lo costringe a riflettere su uno dei periodi più turbolenti del Novecento: la guerriglia sudamericana, le speranze del maggio francese, la repressione poliziesca, le follie della lotta armata che diventa criminalità comune. La storia è vera e raccontata con scrupolo documentario, ma non sacrifica lo spettacolo grazie a un cast di prim’ordine, dove giganteggia il semisconosciuto Arieh Worthalter, dal volto intenso e dalla straordinaria gestualità. Lui è l’imputato Pierre Goldman, in carcere da cinque anni perché accusato di quattro rapine, una delle quali finita con la morte di due farmaciste, e svariati altri reati.Goldman, figlio di ebrei polacchi espatriati per sfuggire alle persecuzioni e diventati eroi della resistenza francese, cresce nel mito dei genitori. Per seguire le loro orme diventa un rivoluzionario di professione e va a combattere in Venezuela.
