L'Ue riconosce l'impegno dell'opposizione nel processoelettorale nonostante le condizioni di disparità. La volontà delpopolo venezuelano deve essere rispettata", sottolinea Borrell,che aggiunge: "L'Ue invita il Consiglio elettorale venezuelano(CNE) a esercitare la massima trasparenza nel processo ditabulazione dei risultati, compresa la concessione dell'accessoimmediato ai registri di voto di ciascun seggio elettorale e lapubblicazione di risultati elettorali disaggregati. L'Ue invitainoltre le autorità a garantire un'indagine completa etempestiva di eventuali reclami e lamentele post-elettorali"."L'Unione europea si rammarica che nessuna delle principaliraccomandazioni della Missione di osservazione elettoraledell'UE del 2021 sia stata attuata. Gli ostacoli allapartecipazione dei candidati dell'opposizione, le carenze nelregistro degli elettori e lo squilibrio nell'accesso ai mediahanno contribuito a creare condizioni elettorali diseguali.
