(Antonio Albanese) e la vicepreside Agnese (Virginia Raffaele) si battono con tutti i mezzi, leciti e illeciti, per salvarla. Consapevoli che l’unico collante di un paese (…il Paese) in declino e privo di prospettive è proprio la scuola. Girato tra Pescasseroli e Opi, che nella finzione diventa il paesino di Rupe, il regista si è avvalso di molti attori non professionisti, scelti tra gli abitanti della zona. Di notevole livello l’interpretazione dei due attori protagonisti ◆ La recensione di BATTISTA GARDONCINI *► È un film di buoni sentimenti, e dunque ad alto rischio di cadere nel melenso. Ma “Un mondo a parte” di Riccardo Milani, con Antonio Albanese e Virginia Raffaele, è brillantemente riuscito ad evitarlo, regalando agli spettatori quasi due ore di piacevole intrattenimento e anche l’occasione di riflettere su argomenti seri come lo spopolamento delle nostre montagne, il senso della comunità e l’importanza della solidarietà.Il maestro elementare Michele, dopo trent’anni passati nelle disastrate scuole delle borgate romane, non ne può più e chiede il trasferimento nell’alta Val di Sangro per ritemprare lo spirito a contatto con la natura incontaminata del parco nazionale d’Abruzzo. Qui scopre che la realtà è diversa dalle sue aspettative, ma trova un’alleata preziosa nella vicepreside Agnese e, dopo le prime tragicomiche difficoltà, riesce ad inserirsi e si affeziona agli allievi della sua pluriclasse. Quando l’esistenza della scuola viene messa in discussione Michele e Agnese, consapevoli che l’unico collante di un paese in declino e privo di prospettive è proprio la scuola, si battono con tutti i mezzi, leciti e illeciti, per salvarla. Che Albanese sia un ottimo attore, capace di costruire personaggi sfaccettati, sempre in bilico tra il leggero e l’impegnato, è cosa nota. La vera sorpresa del film è Virginia Raffaele, qui lontana dal registro comico che l’ha resa famosa. La sua interpretazione di una insegnante disillusa, ma non per questo remissiva, è di notevole livello.Milani ha girato “Un mondo a parte” tra Pescasseroli e Opi, che nella finzione diventa il paesino di Rupe, e si è avvalso di molti attori non professionisti, scelti tra gli abitanti della zona. Di tutti, nei titoli di coda, viene opportunamente ricordato il vero lavoro. Ma in particolare meritano una citazione i ragazzini di Pescasseroli che interpretano se stessi nella pluriclasse del maestro Michele.
