(askanews) - Secondo appuntamento a Milano, del post-flight tour dell'astronauta italiano Walter Villadei, Colonnello dell'Aeronautica Militare, a cui il Ministero della Difesa ha affidato la missione Ax-3 Voluntas, prima missione spaziale commerciale per il nostro Paese che si è conclusa il 9 febbraio dopo 21 giorni di permanenza in orbita.Sull'ISS, Villadei ha condotto diversi esperimenti scientifici nel campo della Difesa ma anche della ricerca in microgravità, alcuni in collaborazione con l'Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (Asi) e con aziende italiane del settore aerospaziale, con importanti ricadute per la vita di tutti noi come ha sottolineato lo stesso astronauta."Gli esperimenti richiederanno mesi e settimane per essere analizzati; s'inseriscono all'interno di filiere di sperimentazione, di argomenti che sono studiati e approfonditi sia a terra sia in volo sfruttando, appunto, le caratteristiche uniche di un laboratorio come la Stazione Spaziale Internazionale. È importante continuare ad investire nel mondo della ricerca. Oggi, quello che è l'arricchimento è che questa ricerca non è più solo solo una ricerca di base sui grandi temi che ci accomunano ma anche una ricerca tecnologica, è anche investire per portare progetti di innovazione tecnologica a vantaggio e a favore delle nostre industrie nazionali.
