(Adnkronos Salute) - "In Italia si contano circa 15 milioni di pazienti con malattie della pelle, 6 milioni hanno una malattia infiammatoria cronica. Una comunità di pazienti che fa i conti tutti i giorni con tantissime difficoltà nelle cure. Dall'accesso alle terapie alle liste di attesa, alle disuguaglianze regionali, per questi pazienti curarsi è una corsa ad ostacoli. Una situazione davvero molto complessa che però non trova una risposta efficiente ed efficace da parte delle istituzioni ancora nel facilitare il percorso di cura". Così all’Adnkronos Salute Tonino Aceti, Presidente Salutequità in occasione dell’incontro 'Equity Group – Malattie croniche della pelle' che si è svolto a Roma alla presenza di esperti, rappresentanti delle istituzioni, specialisti dermatologi, associazioni di pazienti e società scientifiche. "Nella bozza del Piano nazionale della cronicità, che è stato anticipato poche settimane fa attraverso la stampa – fa notare Aceti - le malattie della pelle non rientrano tra le patologie oggetto del Pnc, come pure i Pdta, percorsi diagnostico terapeutico assistenziali, per queste patologie sono assenti. Registriamo esperienze in alcune Asl ma non c'è un Pdta di livello nazionale e di livello regionale. In più i pazienti non hanno reti dermatologiche sulle quali contare per accedere in modo appropriato, tempestivo e con equità alle cure di cui hanno bisogno".
