Saranno settantanove anni dall’entrata nelle città, soprattutto del Nord, dei partigiani e delle partigiane in festa per aver restituito onore al Paese annichilito da vent’anni di dittatura fascista. Si batterono accanto ai tanti giovani angloamericani che persero la vita per respingere i fascisti ed indurre alla resa i repubblichini di Salò. Una resistenza pluralista che mise le basi alla Repubblica democratica e alla Costituzione antifascista, nella quale troppi esponenti del governo, a cominciare dalla premier Meloni, fanno fatica (se non peggio) ad assumere come bussola comune ◆ L’articolo di VITTORIO EMILIANI► Sulla Resistenza si è come stratificato un revisionismo che sbrigativamente toglie ad essa il valore che invece ebbe di una rivolta del Nord contro la repressione nazifascista. Contro questo revisionismo dobbiamo prendere una posizione nettamente critica, negativa. I nostri figli e nipoti devono sapere la verità della storia e cioè che una parte rilevante della società italiana (anche se non maggioritaria, certo) ebbe il coraggio e la forza di opporsi, di non sparire. Fu sufficiente? Non spetta a noi dirlo. Però ci fu e va ricordato. Specialmente al Nord al di sopra della Linea Gotica. Lo ricordava sempre Italo Pietra che era andato in montagna dalla abitazione di Montebello della Battaglia dove si trovava in convalescenza per febbri reumatiche contratte in Albania.La montagna dell’Oltrepo era stata come occupata da ex prigionieri quali l’Algerino, l’Istriano, che uccidevano quanti avevano collaborato coi Tedeschi. Quella era la loro Resistenza e non doveva diventare un modello comportamentale se si voleva avere il favore o la neutralità delle famiglie contadine. Questo fu uno degli impegni strategici di Italo Pietra, di Luchino Dal Verme, di Paolo Murialdi, di altri saliti in montagna per dimostrare con atti e fatti che la loro scelta non era avventuristica ma ben ponderata in senso antifascista. Per questo nell’Oltrepo Pavese e in altre zone prevalse un autentico pluralismo fra Brigate partigiane di stampo diverso. I comunisti cercarono di attribuire alle Garibaldi un valore partitico, di seguire una linea ortodossa ispirata allo stalinismo venendo però smentiti dai fatti. Quando si trattò di decidere chi avrebbe comandato le Brigate dell’Oltrepo che sarebbero arrivate per prime a Milano per snidarvi le ultime resistenze tedesche e fasciste anche i comunisti milanesi fecero convergere il loro favore su Italo Pietra “Edoardo” contro la candidatura partitica di “Americano”. Una decisione saggia che univa anziché dividere. E che fu importante per liberare Milano dove stava arrivando solitario ed esule in Francia dove Sandro Pertini col mitra a tracolla.
