E' stata la donna a dare l'allarme, preoccupata perchè non lo aveva più visto riemergere. L'ipotesi è che l'uomo abbia avuto un improvviso malore in acqua, che gli è stato fatale. Sul posto alla ricerca del disperso, sono arrivate diverse motovedette della Capitaneria di porto di Cagliari con il nucleo sommozzatori.
