indispensabile. La desertificazione bancaria, infatti, non è solo una conseguenza alle riorganizzazioni degli istituti di credito; per i territori è un vero problema perché sono ridimensionati i servizi al cittadino e depauperata la rete dei punti di riferimento delle comunità. Oggi si parla del Veronese, dopo che notizie simili in passato hanno interessato le Dolomiti, la Pedemontana, il Veneziano. In questo periodo in cui c'è un grande impegno per avvicinare i servizi ai cittadini si deve considerare che, soprattutto nei paesi, ci sono persone, molto spesso sole, per cui è difficile intraprendere spostamenti significativi e che per motivi anagrafici non hanno dimestichezza con l'home banking. L'appello che viene da tanti sindaci e amministratori locali non può essere ignorato"."Un grazie va agli istituti di credito che, anche a fronte di difficoltà, continuano a mantenere attivi i presidi territoriali, dando prova di saper guardare al futuro nel solco di una tradizione - conclude il presidente Zaia -.
