(askanews) - Un salvataggio come tanti nel Mediterraneo, 41 migranti recuperati in acque libiche: è arrivata giovedì mattina nel porto di Napoli la nave Life Support di Emergency. A bordo tutti uomini, di cui quattro minori fra i 15 e i 17 anni. Hanno raccontato di essere partiti da Sabrata in Libia, stipati su una piccola barca in vetroresina che, finita in difficoltà in mare, è stata soccorsa dalla Life Support nella notte di lunedì scorso. Sauro Forni è il coordinatore del team medico a bordo della Life Support."Erano molto provati al momento del recupero, adesso stanno bene. Non c'erano donne, erano tutti uomini, per lo più dal Bangladesh, qualche siriano e degli egiziani. I minori stanno bene, hanno fatto più fatica all'inizio, erano i più provati, i più stanchi".Da dicembre 2022 ad oggi la nave di Emergency in mare ha salvato 1.897 vite. Jonathan Nani La Terra, team leader delle operazioni di soccorso, ribadisce che mandare le navi Sar in porti lontani dalla Sicilia è un problema per i soccorsi e per i migranti salvati:"È una costante. Napoli non è un porto al nord ma non è neanche un porto in Sicilia e questo ci mantiene lontani dalla zona operativa dove dovremmo stare.
