(askanews) - Telefoni e tecnologia, è questo il binomio che ha fatto segnare un vero e proprio boom nei consumi degli italiani negli ultimi 30 anni: i primi, con un incremento della spesa pro capite in termini reali di oltre il 6.500%, mentre per Pc e prodotti audiovisivi e multimediali la crescita è stata del 962%. All'interno del comparto del tempo libero, sono in forte crescita anche i servizi ricreativi e culturali che hanno registrato un +90%. Questi, in sintesi, i principali risultati che emergono da un'analisi dell'Ufficio Studi di Confcommercio sui consumi delle famiglie italiane tra il 1995 e il 2024.In calo alimentari e bevande (-10,6%), abbigliamento (-3,9%), mobili ed elettrodomestici (-3,5%) e il consumo di elettricità e gas (-16,6%) grazie anche alla riduzione degli sprechi e alle politiche di risparmio energetico adottate negli ultimi anni. Nel 2024 - con 21.778 euro pro capite - la spesa pro capite per consumi delle famiglie, sebbene abbia recuperato i livelli pre-pandemici, è ancora sotto i livelli di picco del 2007 (-138 euro).Insomma, dal 1995 ad oggi - rileva Confcommercio - al netto della forte crescita della telefonia, solo i consumi connessi al tempo libero presentano una progressiva tendenza all'incremento con volumi di acquisto superiori a quelli del 2019 già nel 2023.Mentre le spese nella filiera turistica, come viaggi e vacanze e i pasti e consumazioni fuori casa, nonostante il recupero degli ultimi anni con continui record di presenze, sono ancora leggermente inferiori ai livelli pre-pandemici.Così come si conferma, e si accentua nel 2024, la tendenza al contenimento per gli acquisti di prodotti più tradizionali.Commentando l'analisi, il presidente di Confcommercio Carlo Sangalli ha osservato: "Quest'anno i consumi legati al tempo libero e quelli della filiera turistica daranno un forte contributo alla crescita. Ma la nostra economia è ancora in una fase di incertezza. Molto dipenderà dalla tenuta dell'occupazione, dalla riduzione dell'inflazione e dagli investimenti del Pnrr.
