(askanews) - Il recupero del progetto del ponte è stato giustificato in base a una "narrazione sbagliata, che lo stato rischiava due miliardi per penali". Lo afferma il professore Guido Signorino dell'Università di Messina in rappresentanza di 563 professori universitari, 262 dell'università di Messina, 281 di atenei del resto d'Italia, 8 di paesi europei e 3 dal continente americano.Il Ponte sullo Stretto è un "regalo ai privati" che "va fermato con risolutezza". "Un progetto incompleto, finanziariamente scoperto, che non ha affrontato le problematiche sismiche, accompagnato da documenti inaffidabili che sovrastimano i benefici e sottostimano i costi, condotto senza il minimo coinvolgimento delle popolazioni interessate, in contrasto con le priorità europee per il trasporto sostenibile, figlio di forzature normative che contravvengono alle regole europee, falsamente rappresentato all'Europa come fosse a livello di studio-idea, quando invece è stato già adottato come definitivo e allo stesso tempo non adeguato a essere legittimamente considerato definitivo: un meccanismo perverso che produce regali ai privati da fermare con risolutezza", ha elencato Signorino, affiancato dal leader dei Verdi Angeli Bonelli, in prima fila nella battaglia contro il Ponte sullo Stretto. Il professore di Messina ha ricordato che "il progetto è privo di copertura: mancano all'appello 2 miliardi di euro che verranno presi dalle regioni Sicilia e Calabria colpite da una grave siccità". Signorino ha denunciato anche una "rappresentazione mistificata dell'interesse pubblico: il governo ha resuscitato un vecchissimo progetto affermando che se non fosse avvenuto lo Stato avrbebe rischiava due miliardi di penali ma non è vero. Il tribunale aveva rigettato la richiesta dei privati".Secondo il professore "il progettista Eurolink, il comitato scientifico, il Mit (Ministero delle Infrastrutture e i Trasporti guidato da Matteo Salvini, ndr), il cda della Società Stretto di Messina hanno sottoposto e adottato un progetto dichiarato definitivo con una forzatura al limite del falso: la relazione del progettista che avrebbe dovuto aggiornare il progetto è un mero elenco di adempimenti impropriamente rinviati alla progettazione seguente che invece dovrebbe essere meramente esecutiva senza mutamenti. Il progetto non ha realizzato gli approfondimenti del quadro sismico rinviandoli alla fase esecutiva quando invece le documentazioni geologiche ufficiali attestano faglie attive". Circostanza sulla quale Bonelli ha annuciato un esposto all'autorità giudiziaria.
