Il risultato è ancora più importante, non solo dal punto di vista personale, come astronauta che essere in addestramento per tanti anni, ma anche questo è un percorso che è maturato all'interno dell'Aeronautica Militare e, da percorso di una Forza armata, è diventato un progetto di un Sistema Paese di cui questa missione ha espresso tante delle sue eccellenze. Il prossimo passo, a cui guardo con grande attenzione e dedicherò le mie energie è quello di parlare, veicolare, spiegare quello che abbiamo fatto, per costruire le premesse di ulteriori missioni alle quali l'Italia potrà partecipare. L'altro compito dell'astronauta è rimanere pronto, quindi mantenere le proprie capacità e i propri skills, il proprio allenamento ma certamente, in questo momento, la cosa più importante com'è stato evidenziato anche dai vertici della Forza Armata, è fare squadra.
