epubbliche amministrazioni, ha ridotto del 5% il consumo annuo dienergia elettrica del Data center di Pont-Saint-Martin,raggiungendo "un importante target in ambito Ambientale cosìcome previsto dal Piano di sostenibilità". Lo annunciaEngineering in una nota.Dal 2022 il gruppo guidato da Maximo Ibarra "ha iniziato alegare la propria strategia finanziaria alle performance Esganche attraverso strumenti all'avanguardia strutturati con iprincipali istituti finanziari: i target di sostenibilitàraggiunti con il Data center permettono quindi a Engineering diaccedere a tali strumenti con condizioni economiche piùvantaggiose. Tale risultato, verificato da un ente terzoindipendente (Deloitte), che nel quadriennio 2021-2024 ha ilcompito di verificare che il Data center raggiunga una riduzionemedia annua di consumi del 5%, è stato reso possibile grazieagli interventi di efficientamento energetico avviati nel 2021presso il Data center di Pont-Saint-Martin".Gli interventi hanno riguardato in particolare "l'incrementodella capacità di refrigerazione dell'impianto geotermico dellastruttura attraverso la trivellazione di due ulteriori pozzi" e"l'aumento della capacità di prelievo dell'acqua utilizzata peril raffreddamento".
