L'Agenzia Spaziale Europea (Esa), infatti, ha "adottato" le missioni LISA e EnVision.Una, Lisa - nata dall'esperienza della missione Lisa Pathfinder - verrà lanciata a metà degli anni '30 e guarda molto, molto lontano, alla scoperta di buchi neri e onde gravitazionali affinché, nell'ambito della cosiddetta "astrofisica multimessaggera", possano indicarci la strada per capire com'è nato e come si sta evolvendo l'universo.L'altra, EnVision prevista per il 2031 ci porterà, molto più vicino casa, a scoprire i segreti di Venere.Entrambi i progetti vedono una forte partecipazione italiana con l'Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (Asi), l'Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (infn) e l'Università di Trento. Per saperne di più, askanews ne ha parlato con Luigi Colangeli, Acting H/Director and Programme Strategy Support Office dell'Esa."Lisa riteniamo che sarà una delle più importanti missioni dei prossimi 10/15 anni, quando entrerà in funzione - ha spiegato Colangeli - perché sarà uno strumento unico per poter analizzare un intervallo di frequenze che non è osservabile da Terra e, quindi, andare alla ricerca di quei segnali minimi che sono perturbazioni del cosiddetto spazio-tempo che ci danno informazioni su quegli oggetti massicci (Buchi neri, ndr) che, altrimenti, non sarebbero osservabili e, quindi, andare a scoprire l'intimo messaggio che è presente in questi oggetti in termini di loro formazione ed evoluzione. Quando si parla di astrofisica multimesseggera, con molti diversi meccanismi di associazione, significa che, da un lato, studieremo queste onde gravitazionali, dall'altro avremo la possibilità di puntare i potenti telescopi che lavorano in varie bande luminose per poter analizzare poi questi oggetti e complementare le informazioni in una gamma di conoscenza che è molto più ampia rispetto al passato"."La missione EnVision è una missione che, in un certo senso, riprende l'eredità di una precedente missione dell'Esa, Venus Express che ha avuto modo di osservare il pianeta Venere per parecchi anni e consentirci di comprendere meglio il funzionamento di questo pianeta. EnVision sarà, invece, un passo fondamentale nella comprensione di questo pianeta perché, da un lato, abbiamo delle tecnologie molto più avanzate e potremo studiare il pianeta in tutti i suoi vari aspetti, in particolare EnVision è dotata di strumenti che saranno in grado di studiare l'interno del pianeta, andando a penetrare, con radar sounder, gli strati interni del pianeta ma poi capire la formazione e l'evoluzione della superficie, eventualmente identificando anche attuali fenomeni vulcanici e l'evoluzione dell'atmosfera. Quindi sarà veramente un'analisi a '4 Pi greco' di tutte le caratteristiche di questo pianeta. Perché ci interessa Venere? Perché Venere si trova nella stessa fascia di cosiddetti pianeti terrestri, quindi la Terra e Marte che hanno avuto un'evoluzione, nel corso della formazione del Sistema solare molto differente, quindi, in un certo senso, capire perché Venere ha raggiunto questa sua fase così diversa dalla Terra e così diversa da Marte ci servirà anche per comprendere meglio il passato, il presente e il futuro del nostro pianeta"."L'Italia è tra Paesi europei uno di quelli più attivi e, in particolare, sulla parte che riguarda Lisa, avremo una parte degli strumenti e anzi del sistema di guida che sarà costruito da industrie italiane.
