E' il quadro fotografato dal monitoraggio della cabina di regia ministero della Salute-Istituto superiore di sanità per il periodo 25-31 luglio. L'incidenza sale a 29 casi per 100mila abitanti, "in lieve aumento rispetto alla settimana precedente" quando era di 23 casi per 100mila abitanti, "pur rimanendo bassa", si legge. Il dato è "in lieve aumento nella maggior parte delle regioni/province autonome. L'incidenza più elevata è stata riportata nella regione Campania (55 casi per 100mila abitanti) e la più bassa nelle Marche (1 caso per 100mila abitanti)". Quanto all'Rt, "l'indice di trasmissibilità calcolato con dati aggiornati al 31 luglio e basato sui casi con ricovero ospedaliero - prosegue il report - al 23 luglio è pari a 1,19 (1,11-1,28), sostanzialmente stabile rispetto alla settimana precedente (Rt 1,24 al 15 luglio, 1,14-1,35)".Sul fronte ricoveri, "al 31 luglio l'occupazione dei posti letto in area medica è pari al 3% (1.829 ricoverati) - riporta il monitoraggio - in leggero aumento stabile rispetto alla settimana precedente (2,4% al 24 luglio). In lieve aumento anche l'occupazione dei posti letto in terapia intensiva, pari a 0,6% (55 ricoverati), rispetto alla settimana precedente (0,4% al 24 luglio)". Il tasso più alto di incidenza settimanale si registra fra gli 80-89enni e gli ultra 90enni, indica il monitoraggio. Il dato è in aumento nella maggior parte delle fasce d'età. L'età mediana alla diagnosi è di 60 anni, stabile rispetto alla settimana precedente. Stabile anche la percentuale di reinfezioni, pari al 48% circa. Anche i tassi di ospedalizzazione e mortalità sono più elevati nei grandi anziani. Nelle fasce d'età 80-89 anni e over 90 il tasso di ospedalizzazione è rispettivamente pari a 68 e 118 per milione di abitanti (era di 47 e 86 per milione la scorsa settimana), mentre il tasso di ricovero in terapia intensiva è di 1 per milione (stabile) in entrambe le fasce.
