lalavorazione di ceneri ritenute altamente tossiche, derivanti daprocessi di piro-gassificazione. Il provvedimento è statodisposto dal gip di Trento su richiesta della Procura dellaRepubblica di Bolzano e di Trento, che coordina le indaginisulla produzione e successiva commercializzazione di materialecombustibile per barbecue fatte di ceneri prodotta in duestabilimenti di cogenerazione dell'Alto Adige. Attualmenterisultano indagate nove persone, di cui sei cittadini italiani etre austriaci, per traffico illecito di rifiuti e frode incommercio.L'indagine è partita nel 2022, quando è stato fermato interritorio italiano un camion con targa croata che trasportavala cenere prodotta dalla combustione di legna e cippato da dueimpianti di cogenerazione di Lasa e Versciaco. Ulterioriaccertamenti, hanno permesso di appurare come la cenere(contenente idrocarburi e diossina) non venisse trattata comerifiuto da smaltire, ma utilizzata per produrre, attraverso unalavorazione chimica, le bricchette per barbecue in duestabilimenti, in Croazia e in Serbia."Si tratta di un'indagine articolata e complessa, un unicum alivello nazionale per quanto riguarda la difesa della salute.Con il provvedimento è stato stroncato un commercio illecito eistallato ponte investigativo, tramite l'agenzia per lacooperazione giudiziaria Eurojust, con altri Paesi europei", haspiegato il procuratore capo di Trento, Sandro Raimondi.A quanto specificato dal comandante del Noe di Venezia,Enrico Risottino, la rete coinvolgeva Alto Adige e Austria,Croazia e Serbia, ma il commercio avveniva in tutta Europa.
