Farmaceutico Italo-Americano (IAPG). Questo gruppo riunisce le aziende farmaceutiche italiane con partecipazione americana ed è una delle componenti Farmindustria.Nella storia dello IAPG, Kerkola è l'undicesimo presidente, un ruolo cruciale nel rappresentare a livello istituzionale 14 aziende che rappresentano il 30% del fatturato totale del settore, impiegando circa 14.000 lavoratori qualificati di cui la metà in ricerca e sviluppo e produzione.Paivi Kerkola vanta oltre 25 anni di esperienza nel settore farmaceutico: dopo cinque anni nel ruolo di Country Manager e Amministratore Delegato di Pfizer Finlandia, è stata nominata Country Manager e Amministratore Delegato di Pfizer Italia nel febbraio 2020, e ha guidato l'azienda attraverso la crisi pandemica.
