Noi siciliani dobbiamo essere a conoscenza del fatto che l'autonomia differenziata ce l'abbiamo da più di settant'anni: con questo disegno di legge le differenze di Sicilia e Sardegna con il resto d'Italia rimarranno, o addirittura si aggraveranno. Noi pensionati siamo metà del paese e non vogliamo che succeda tutto questo"."Bisogna dare ai giovani la possibilità di farsi una famiglia e avere un lavoro stabile e duraturo, piuttosto che lasciarli in una condizione di precarietà - prosegue Barbagallo -. Mancano soprattutto le infrastrutture e sono fondamentali, perché oggi la Sicilia è in balia della siccità: un tempo c'erano una ventina di dighe, ma in alcune c'era la canalizzazione e mancavano gli invasi e in altre c'erano gli invasi e mancava la canalizzazione".
