Nato il 27 luglio del 1920, Crudi è stato testimone delleatrocità dei campi di concentramento nazisti in cui ha vistomorire migliaia di uomini e ha vissuto l'orrore dell'Olocausto.Catturato e deportato, il 104enne è stato rinchiuso in diversicampi di prigionia, principalmente a Gotenhafen, oggi Gdynia, edurante la ritirata tedesca, fu costretto a una marcia di 1.200chilometri, insieme ad altri prigionieri, segnato dalla fame,dal freddo e dalla morte di molti compagni.Oggi Crudi rappresenta una voce preziosa per non dimenticarele atrocità del passato per costruire un futuro migliore. "Ètutto vero, è successo davvero", ha raccontato all'assessoracomunale alla Famiglia, Marina Zoffoli, che gli ha portato ilsaluto e l'affetto di Riccione in occasione del compleannospeciale esprimendo gratitudine e ammirazione per il suocoraggio e la sua vita.
