(Adnkronos Salute) - Il decreto legge sulle liste d'attesa che è stato approvato, per Altroconsumo non rappresenta purtroppo ancora una risposta risolutiva e adeguata del problema. Infatti, molte delle disposizioni del decreto rispecchiano quanto è già previsto da norme vigenti per i tempi d'attesa, che tuttavia vengono spesso disattese, innanzitutto per la cronica mancanza di risorse. Serve trovare urgentemente una soluzione strutturale - sottolinea l'associazione in una nota - che garantisca il diritto alla salute dei cittadini, che oggi è messo a repentaglio. Lo dimostra infatti la recente inchiesta dell'organizzazione dei consumatori, in cui sono emersi i problemi legati ai lunghi tempi di attesa nella prenotazione di visite o esami, con conseguente spinta nei confronti dei cittadini a rivolgersi, in alcuni casi, al settore privato o, addirittura, a rinunciare alle cure. Altroconsumo, su uno dei tanti problemi che affligge il Servizio sanitario nazionale, ha cercato, nel tempo, di dare un supporto ai cittadini aiutandoli a sollecitare le Asl regionali a garantire loro le prenotazioni nei tempi previsti dalla legge. L'organizzazione dei consumatori auspica che le attuali criticità, che il decreto odierno non risolve, possano essere davvero affrontate in occasione del disegno di legge che è stato annunciato e di cui, però, ancora non si conosce il contenuto. Un passaggio fondamentale sarà, in ogni caso, rappresentato dalla prossima legge di Bilancio: se si vuole che gli interventi non restino solo sulla carta, nella Finanziaria andranno previste risorse adeguate ai fabbisogni reali.
