(askanews) - Intelligenza artificiale generativa, metaverso e multiverso, NFT, VR, realtà aumentata e molto altro: nel 2023 l'arte digitale si è affermata sempre di più come nuovo linguaggio artistico e mezzo per raccontare il contemporaneo e i suoi cambiamenti. Su questa scia è nata la prima edizione di VDA Award, premio alle eccellenze dell'arte digitale, lanciato dal progetto Var Digital Art. Il direttore artistico Davide Sarchioni: "Quando si parla di arte digitale l'innovazione non è data tanto da quali strumenti innovativi l'artista impiega per la creazione delle opere, quanto dal come l'artista utilizza questi strumenti; questa è una riflessione valida per l'analisi delle manifestazioni dell'arte digitale e anche per l'arte contemporanea in genere". Al centro del progetto ci sono gli artisti: 12 quelli selezionati, italiani, di varia formazione, approccio e linguaggio, tra loro anche degli esordienti.
