La segretaria Pd è convinta che si possa fare il bis, tanto più che stavolta il "campo" è non solo largo ma larghissimo, da M5s ai centristi di Renzi e Calenda, e in questi giorni si è fatta strada l'idea che "l'effetto Todde" possa aiutare a colmare il divario dal candidato del centrodestra Marco Marsilio. Il voto nelle regioni potrebbe dare una grande mano alla leader democratica, che deve fare i conti con la concorrenza del leader M5s e con le fibrillazioni della minoranza Pd, che è sempre più preoccupata per una linea ritenuta troppo focalizzata proprio sul dialogo con i 5 stelle.Una vittoria anche in Abruzzo permetterebbe alla Schlein di prolungare quella tregua interna che si era incrinata sul terzo mandato e che è stata nuovamente imposta dal risultato sardo. Ma sarebbe anche una conferma per la linea "testardamente unitaria" che rivendica ogni giorno, nonostante la ritrosia di Giuseppe Conte e Carlo Calenda.Il leader M5s non rinuncia ad incalzare il Pd, anche se adesso anche lui parla con più decisione della necessità di costruire un'alleanza. "Sono testardamente votato a costruire un'alternanza rispetto a questo governo", ha detto giovedì sera a 'Otto e mezzo', riecheggiando l'avverbio che usa sempre la Schlein. Ovviamente sempre ribadendo che l'accordo può nascere solo "sulla base di principi e progetti seri e condivisi che ci consentano non solo di vincere ma di cambiare il Paese". Ma, appunto, Conte ribadisce anche la distanza che lo separa dal Pd: "Sulla politica estera c'è molto da discutere".Conte non risparmia nemmeno un accenno malizioso alle divisioni tra i democratici, sottolineando che "c'è una svolta che voglio sottolineare: Schlein ha detto che non appoggeranno questo patto di stabilità e crescita. E' una convergenza importante perché da subito ho denunciato che questo patto, nonostante abbia dietro anche Gentiloni, sarà un disastro per l'economia, e il Pd lo ha compreso". E proprio Gentiloni è l'ospite principale dell'evento a Milano nel giorno del voto abruzzese 'Energia popolare', l'area di Stefano Bonaccini. Con loro sul palco il candidato Pse alla guida della Ue: Nicholas Schmit.La leader Pd è consapevole che i prossimi tre mesi, fino alle europee, saranno decisivi per la sua scommessa, come segretaria del partito e come punto di riferimento del centrosinistra. I parlamentari più vicini a lei sono convinti che "dopo le europee tutti - da Conte a Calenda - dovranno cambiare atteggiamento e lavorare seriamente per una coalizione". Ma proprio per questo è fondamentale per la Schlein uscire bene dalla tornata elettorale di questa primavera.Del resto, dal punto di vista aritmetico i sondaggi danno ragione alla leader Pd, il fronte delle opposizioni unito sarebbe in grado di competere con il centrodestra già ora. E se è vero che le differenze sulla linea politica sono in alcuni casi profonde - dalla politica estera ai temi dell'ambiente dell'energia - è anche indiscutibile che le stesse divisioni si ritrovano anche nella coalizione di centrodestra. Senza contare che - sono convinti i parlamentari più vicini alla segretaria - molti dei distinguo visti fin qui vengono esasperati proprio a fini elettorali, per provare a capitalizzare voti in più alle europee.Ecco perché la Schlein insiste con la linea "testardamente unitaria", la segretaria è convinta che alla fine tutti dovranno prendere atto della forza dei numeri.
