Ma in questa estate 2024 c'è sicuramente un altro evento che passerà alla storia e che compirà "Il giro del mondo in 80 location". Livorno si prepara a diventare per 5 giorni capitale mondiale della musica. Nella piccola Venezia del Mediterraneo, così ribattezzata alla metà del'600 con il suo quartiere ispirato a "La Serenissima", sta per tornare, infatti, l'evento "Effetto Venezia", giunto alla sua 39° esima edizione, che proprio per festeggiare questa importante ricorrenza. ha deciso di affidare la direzione artistica della kermesse alla cantautrice Grazia Di Michele. La raffinata artista, dalla grande carriera e dall'autentica passione per la musica, ha chiamato a raccolta colleghi ed amici da tutto il mondo per dare vita ad una manifestazione musicale memorabile, che sicuramente riscriverà le pagine dei ricordi delle migliaia di persone pronte ad affollare la località dal 31 luglio al 4 agosto 2024 e che potranno assistere a tutti gli eventi, concerti e altro, offerti gratuitamente. L'idea di prendere in prestito la scommessa di un progetto impossibile, come quello raccontato nel romanzo "Il Giro del mondo in 80 giorni" dell'autore francese Jules Verne, è frutto dell'estro creativo della Di Michele che più semplicemente è riuscita a far confluire a Livorno un numero impressionante di cantanti, cantautori, musicisti, band, danzatori, artisti di strada, provenienti da varie parti del mondo per contaminare il pubblico di autentica magia, tra mostre, concerti e dibattiti nel quartiere Venezia. Affiancata dalla Fondazione Lem e dal Sindaco Luca Salvetti l'ex ragazza di Gauguin ha percorso la scelta di un progetto visionario riuscendo nell'impresa di confezionare un cartellone ispirato all'unicità di Livorno, che come lei stessa ha dichiarato: " E' una città che sta sulla terraferma ma ha il mare davanti e per questo sempre pronta all'accoglienza, a mescolare e mescolarsi proprio come gli stili di varie etnie che popoleranno ogni angolo del quartiere". Dal palco centrale della Piazza del Luogo Pio, alle due Fortezze, alla Chiesa di Santa Caterina, nei cortili dei palazzi storici, in tutte le piazze del quartiere, nel Teatro Vertigo, si dirameranno esibizioni e performance in ogni dove, perfino all'interno del Tribunale. Sono 160 in totale gli eventi previsti con grandi nomi del mondo musicale, tra i quali: Noa, Enzo Avitabile, Franco Mussida, Toquinho, Bungaro, Rossana Casale, Patrizio Fariselli, Ziad Trabelsi, Eugenio Bennato, Theofilo Chantre, Tricarico, Dolcenera, Matthew Lee e molti altri artisti che si esibiranno durante la manifestazione.
