Terminato l'addestramento in Giappone, comincia ora per tutto il personale e i velivoli dell'Aeronautica militare, il viaggio di ritorno in Italia.L'impegno addestrativo in Indopacifico però continua ancora per i prossimi mesi con i due F-35B dell'Aeronautica militare ed i relativi piloti e gli specialisti che proseguiranno la loro missione a bordo della portaerei Cavour della Marina militare.La missione Rising Sun 2024 punta a continuare lo sviluppo della capacità interforze nazionale di proiezione dal mare con velivoli di quinta generazione.
