presentati al via più numerosi della stagione precedente, mettendo a segno dal 2011 una crescita complessiva del 26,4% pari a più del 2% l’anno. La riviera romagnola si conferma al vertice dell’offerta per numero di realtà, segnalando ormai una saturazione delle possibilità di accoglienza. A crescere sono un po’ tutte le altre coste dello stivale con la Calabria in testa (+358 imprese nel periodo) seguita dalla Campania (+188) e dalla Sicilia (+180). Secondo i dati dell'indagine Unioncamere-InfoCamere, basata sul Registro delle Imprese delle Camere di Commercio, al termine del 2023 sono 7.244 le imprese registrate nel settore della gestione di stabilimenti balneari contro le 7.173 del dicembre 2021 (+1%). La costa romagnola è quella che ospita il maggior numero di imprese balneari: 1.052 realtà che, insieme, rappresentano il 14,5% del totale nazionale. Ravenna (186), Rimini (154) e Cervia (150) guidano la classifica per numerosità. Questi comuni, insieme a Riccione e Cesenatico, formano un quintetto d’oro che contribuisce a rendere la Romagna il cuore pulsante delle nostre coste, grazie alla vivacità e varietà dell’offerta. La Toscana segue a ruota in termini assoluti e, con Camaiore, presidia saldamente la classifica della densità di imprese per chilometro di costa: ben 92 lungo i isoli 3 km di litorale del comune toscano, pari a una media di 30 attività per chilometro. Al secondo posto c’è Pietrasanta, un’altra perla del litorale tirrenico, con una densità di 22,3 imprese per chilometro.A chiudere il podio delle regioni con il maggior numero di imprese balneari c’è la Liguria (797), meta storica del turismo estivo per i residenti del Nord ma apprezzatissima anche da tanti altri visitatori, italiani e stranieri.Se dai numeri assoluti si passa ad osservare la dinamica della crescita, i dodici anni trascorsi mettono in evidenza il forte dinamismo delle regioni del Sud. Dal 2011 a oggi la Sardegna ha triplicato le imprese balneari e brilla con una crescita eccezionale del 190% mentre la Calabria ha visto più che raddoppiare le attività balneari con sede legale nel suo territorio, con un aumento del 110,4% nel periodo. Anche Sicilia (+75,4%), Puglia (+52,5%) e Campania (+36,9%) hanno conosciuto una fioritura di imprese che contribuiscono a rendere il Sud un polo sempre più attrattivo per i turisti di tutto il mondo. Le imprese balneari italiane sono spesso a conduzione familiare, riflettendo la nostra cultura del mare come luogo di incontro e tradizione. Le società di persone rappresentano il 42% delle imprese, mentre le società di capitale sono in crescita (31%), indicando un settore sempre più professionalizzato e pronto ad affrontare le sfide del futuro.Entrando nelle stanze dei bottoni, l’industria balneare si rivela una concreta opportunità di sviluppo per l’imprenditoria femminile.
