(askanews) - Passo avanti sul fronte del caccia del futuro "Tempest", nell'ambito del GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme): le industrie aerospaziali dei tre Paesi partner: Italia, Regno Unito e Giappone hanno definito i termini della collaborazione trilaterale per soddisfare i requisiti della fase concettuale del sistema di difesa aerea di nuova generazione.Il Global Combat Air Programme è una partnership strategica che vede Italia, Regno Unito e Giappone unite, con le rispettive industrie della Difesa, per realizzare, entro il 2035, l'aereo da caccia del futuro che sostituirà l'Eurofighter, affiancandosi all'F-35.I tre partner si riuniscono, per la prima volta, nel Regno Unito al salone Defence and Security Equipment International (Dsei) a Londra, in programma dal 12 al 15 settembre, per mostrare i progressi compiuti in questo progetto internazionale.
