Non si può parlare di ospedale del futuro senza riconoscere la professione infermieristica come parte fondante. Dobbiamo far comprendere ai ragazzi delle superiori quanto sia stimolante e moderna, ma dobbiamo anche coinvolgere in questo discorso la politica. Il nuovo disegno del corso di laurea di Medicina e chirurgia non deve essere un nuovo colpo alle professioni sanitarie, per sminuirle". Lo ha detto la presidente della Conferenza dei rettori delle università italiane (Crui), Giovanna Iannantuoni, intervendo da remoto all'incontro 'Sfide e opportunità della professione infermieristica', promosso oggi a Roma da Fnopi (Federazione nazionale Ordini professioni infermieristiche) e Crui. "Lavoriamo quindi insieme affinché questa professione venga riconosciuta per quella che è - ha poi concluso - affinché intercetti i giovani, ma anche le scelte della politica e i finanziamenti. Spero che questa sia la prima di numerose azioni comuni di impatto politico sui cui lavorare tutti insieme.
