(askanews) - Il più grande laboratorio volante al mondo è in Asia per migliorare le misurazioni e le previsioni dell'inquinamento atmosferico nella regione più popolosa del Pianeta. Secondo il programma di 8 settimane lanciato dagli Stati Uniti e da quattro Paesi asiatici, il laboratorio volante scientifico della Nasa misurerà i dati dell'aria nei centri urbani di Filippine, Corea del Sud, Malesia e Thailandia nei mesi di febbraio e marzo 2024.Partito dalle Filippine, il Dc-8 dell'agenzia americana ha sorvolato il Paese per otto ore filate - alle volte ad appena 15 metri di altezza - per raccogliere le particelle atmosferiche da studiare.
