VI edizione del Marosi Festival in programma sull'isola di Stromboli dal 26 al 30 giugno. Il progetto di Giulia Ferrato diretto proprio da Ferrato con Anna Basti è una maniera profonda di recupero della dimensione artistica vissuta dentro la natura, per la natura e con la natura. La danza, la performing art, le installazioni e la sound art sono le traiettorie-madri in cui si sviluppa il festival siciliano che negli anni è cresciuto sempre su più in ambito internazionale e che stabilisce una speciale occasione di turismo culturale, coinvolgendo artisti e compagnie da Italia, Malta, Spagna, Belgio, Slovenia che per cinque giorni illumineranno l'isola con il loro magma creativo. Una edizione che indaga il tema 'Gold Variations' perché la sorgente sono le trenta Variazioni Goldberg per clavicembalo/pianoforte composte da J. S. Bach nel XVII secolo.Non mancheranno i segmenti 'Art and Community' e 'Around a Process of Making' con la partecipazione di artiste e artisti in fase di creazione dell'opera. "L'oro è forgiato dal fuoco, ne contiene la memoria. Depositi di oro si formano nei vulcani in profondità e l'oro è ospitato nelle sue pietre. Scendendo in profondità, troveremo l'oro nella camera magmatica dello Stromboli?". Ecco l'enigma-missione del Marosi Festival, che dal 26 al 30 giugno lascerà espandere decine di esperienze corporee.Così le Eolie assumono il valore di calamita per raccogliere e dilatare idee, creazioni, azioni sceniche e spettacoli da vivere in comunità nello scambio radicale tra coloro che sono residenti e coloro che diventano cittadini provvisori del territorio-isola. "Durante il festival - spiega Giulia Ferrato - le case, i tetti, gli uliveti, il mare e la schiena stessa del cono vulcanico diventano luoghi di ascolto e performance della pratica artistica contemporanea. Dal 2022 ad oggi abbiamo scelto di includere artiste/artisti locali o che hanno deciso di abitare a Stromboli intessendo dialoghi con artisti stranieri per attivare una comunità eterogenea, trasversale e intergenerazionale.
