Ci voleva un paziente lavoro di scavo come sempre in culture che hanno radice in terre confinarie. Esposte a diverse e a volte contrastanti influenze.Ho avuto la fortuna di assistere a Milano ad una edizione del Signor G e ne conservo un ricordo bello, vivace, fiammeggiante. Gaber è stato una figura decisamente complessa di autore e di attore, unica nel panorama italiano, e come tale andava indagato e restituito al pubblico più vasto del teatro e soprattutto della tv. Lo scopersi quasi per caso nel jukebox del Bar Madama a Voghera dove risiedevo: di lui c’era un brano che ascoltavo spesso: “Genevieve”, interpretata con una allegria velata di tristezza.
