Lo si legge in una nota di Italo."Nel 2023 ha portato a termine il processo di rifinanziamentodella struttura del capitale esistente tramite nuovo prestitobancario green sindacato del valore di 1,4 miliardi di euro.L'operazione, a cui hanno partecipato diversi istituti dicredito nazionali ed internazionali, ha avuto come principaleobiettivo quello di rifinanziare il prestito 2019 (il più grandefinanziamento green a livello globale di sempre nel settore deitrasporti, interamente utilizzato per l'acquisto di trenielettrici di ultima generazione) e finanziare l'ulterioreampliamento della flotta. Contestualmente, l'azienda continua a monitorare il propriolivello di emissioni e ad ampliare i calcoli della catena delvalore e le relative emissioni Scope 3 con l'obiettivo dipoterle ridurre, cogliendo nuove opportunità, per migliorarsi efronteggiando il climate change.
