(Adnkronos) - "Potrebbe sembrare strana la partecipazione di un’azienda tecnologia ad un Festival di Filosofia, ma la nostra presenza qui assieme a tanti esperti di livello mondiale è, a mio avviso, naturale. Sono infatti convinto che la tecnologia e il pensiero dell’uomo, e dunque la filosofia, siano strettamente collegati". Così Maximo Ibarra, Amministratore delegato di Engineering, digital transformation company leader in Italia, in occasione della serata intitolata 'Menti', con la quale si è conclusa "Filosofie sotto le stelle", rassegna promossa da Roma Capitale presso lo Stadio Palatino di Roma. La tre giorni si è svolta in concomitanza con il XXV World Congress of Philosophy – Rome 2024, organizzato dalla International Federation of Philosophical Societies (Fisp), dalla Società Filosofica Italiana (Sfi) e dall’Università degli Studi di Roma Sapienza che, per la prima volta, ha reso la città eterna 'Capitale mondiale della filosofia'. (Video) Secondo Ibarra, "l’Intelligenza artificiale può potenziare la creatività umana, fino a realizzare dialoghi inediti con il passato", come dimostrato nel corso della serata attraverso la simulazione della conversazione con gli avatar di Platone e Confucio. Con la tecnologia e l’intelligenza artificiale infatti "andremo ad incidere sulla qualità della vita delle persone, sul loro benessere e sulla ricchezza che produrranno - spiega Ibarra - E tutti questi aspetti hanno delle implicazioni importanti sulla centralità dell'uomo. Molto spesso poi, si parla anche dell'intelligenza artificiale come sostituto dell'individuo, ma non è così" piuttosto, è "un'amplificazione delle sue capacità che apre la strada ad una modalità di lavoro sempre più collaborativa tra l'essere umano e la macchina". Per questo motivo, secondo il Ceo di Engineering "è necessario far sì che quando si parla di umanità, di futuro della vita sul nostro pianeta e di filosofia, si parli anche con chi si occupa di tecnologia". Parallelamente, anche "il fattore umano è fondamentale" nello sviluppo dell’Ia: "è essenziale e l'intelligenza artificiale non sostituirà mai l'essere umano, ma amplificherà le sue conoscenze, la sua creatività e le sue capacità - precisa Ibarra - Quando si parla di sostituzione si parla piuttosto di persone che utilizzano l'intelligenza artificiale che sostituiranno individui che non utilizzeranno l'intelligenza artificiale. Questa collaborazione sempre più forte tra individui e macchine porterà ad un incredibile volume di scoperte e di innovazione. Non sarà quindi una sostituzione, ma una grande collaborazione". A tale proposito si parla di copilot, che "non è soltanto un software, ma è appunto la capacità di poter fare le cose insieme, delegando alle macchine le attività più ripetitive o quelle che possono essere automatizzate" sottolinea il manager. Tra i numerosi cambiamenti che porterà l’Ia nella vita ordinaria dell’essere umano, prevalentemente positivi, anche qualche minaccia di cui bisogna tenere conto: "Si dovrà quindi intervenire sotto il punto di vista delle normative e della regolamentazione, ponendo anche delle limitazioni tecnologiche. Questa crescita esponenziale, però, ci porterà soprattutto ad un costante miglioramento degli standard di vita, aiutandoci ad affrontare le emergenze e calamità naturali, a risolvere il cambiamento climatico, a migliorare l’educazione e la sanità.
