"Dati positivi che derivano anche dai progetti nuovi di rilievo, come il turismo delle radici e il turismo delle passioni, o per le misure attuate dal governo regionale per la tenuta del sistema ricettivo che, solo per gli anni 2020-2022, che ha reso disponibili per le imprese del settore oltre 60 milioni di euro con un incremento rispetto al 2019 del numero di esercizi (+8,3%) e di posti letto (+3,1%). Anche dal punto di vista occupazionale, 12 mila le unità di lavoro attivate (più 6 per cento del totale regionale), e secondo anche ai dati ISTAT elaborati da Federalberghi e FIPE, il mercato del lavoro nel turismo lucano si caratterizza per un'alta presenza femminile e una consistente partecipazione giovanile, con quasi il 37% dei lavoratori dipendenti con meno di 30 anni.Abbiamo ricevuto diversi riconoscimenti: nel 2023 la Basilicata è risultata la miglior regione d'Italia per il premio 'Destinazione digitale' di Data Appeal (terza per apprezzamenti da turisti stranieri)" prosegue Bardi. "Nel 2022, per Booking.com era la regione più accogliente d'Italia ed era tra le 12 novità del turismo mondiale secondo Vogue.com. Le destinazioni balneari lucane e il Parco del Pollino sono state tra le novità consigliate da Forbes.com nel 2022. APT ha ricevuto la menzione speciale di Legambiente nell'ambito dell'Oscar Italiano del cicloturismo, edizione 2021, e il premio nazionale per miglior comunicazione con la campagna Basilicata free to move nel 2022.Matera e la Basilicata oggi sono mete riconosciute, apprezzate a livello internazionale e continueremo a fare questo grande lavoro insieme agli operatori di settore.
