Il monomotore austriaco sarà il primo aereo elettrico certificato da EASA e FAA (CS/Parte 23) nella sua categoria. Grazie alla ricarica plug-in rapida che consente il pieno di energia in tempi relativamente brevi, è un aereo eccezionalmente sostenibile, perfetto per le scuole di volo del futuro con emissioni pari a zero, rumorosità ridotta, minori costi operativi e un'autonomia di volo di 1,2 ore, per circa 220 Km e un carico utile di 178 Kg. La propulsione elettrica e ibrida degli aerei del domani è stato uno dei leit motiv del salone tedesco con diverse aziende che hanno presentato prodotti innovativi sostenibili, in particolare nel campo degli ultraleggeri, dei motoalianti e degli Apr, i velivoli a pilotaggio remoto, i cosiddetti droni.
