Trovato abbandonato nel 2021 a Gorizia, l'orsetto erastato salvato e trasferito a Roma, dove gli era statadiagnosticata una grave malformazione congenita ai reni che gliavrebbe impedito di essere reintrodotto in natura, ma non divivere in una riserva più limitata. "Presto Kuma potrà riprovarel'emozione del bosco, della scoperta, la socialità e questo pernoi - afferma la presidente Enpa, Carla Rocchi - è un risultatoimportantissimo.
