(askanews) - Le maggiori banche italiane hanno chiuso la prima metà del 2024 con aumenti a due cifre degli utili e si profila uno slancio positivo anche per il resto dell'anno. È la fotografia scattata da Morningstar Dbrs con una nota di analisi sul comparto.L'agenzia di rating rileva che complessivamente le maggiori banche italiane - Intesa SanPaolo, UniCredit, Bpm, Bper e Mps -hanno realizzato utili netti per 6,6 miliardi di euro nel secondo trimestre, in crescita del 15% su base annua o del 10% se si escludono le poste una tantum. I primi sei mesi dell'anno si sono chiusi con un aggregato complessivo di utili netti pari a 12,6 miliardi di euro, in crescita del 20% su base annua o del 16% escluse le poste una tantum. Il rafforzamento degli introiti dai margini sui tassi e dalle commissioni hanno sostenuto i ricavi, mentre il controllo dei costi ha aiutato a bilanciare le pressioni inflazionistiche e l'impatto dei rinnovi contrattuali di categoria, oltre alle spese per investimenti su information technology e i costi di ristrutturazione. Secondo Morningstar Dbrs gli indicatori di qualità degli attivi sono rimasti stabili nonostante la crescita a rilento dei prestiti, mentre i livelli di finanziamento liquidità restano solidi."Il primo trimestre suggerisce un buono slancio per continuare il 2024 con margini di interesse netti resilienti, un buon contributo dalle entrate per commissioni, mentre i minori costi di approvvigionamento sul credito che bilanceranno i probabili aumenti dei costi dalle spese per il personale e sugli investimenti digitali", commenta Andrea Costanzo, vicepresidente per i rating sulla finanza europea di Morningstar Dbrs. "A questo stadio, se la qualità degli attivi non dovesse deviare materialmente dalla traiettoria attuale, ci attendiamo il 2024 si definisca altrettanto buono o migliore del 2023".
