rifiuti. Il governo della Regione Siciliana, su disposizione del Presidente Renato Schifani, si appresta a depositare in Aula un emendamento alla Manovra finanziaria in corso di approvazione all'Ars, per andare incontro alle esigenze del Capoluogo. E' quanto si legge in una nota della Regione.È un contributo, sottolinea la nota, per sostenere gli sforzi dell'amministrazione comunale per mitigare l'emergenza, che ha anche risvolti di salute pubblica e un possibile impatto sul turismo, nel pieno della stagione estiva. La Regione, prosegue la nota, sta lavorando per risolvere in maniera definitiva e strutturale in tutta l'Isola il problema dello smaltimento dei rifiuti con la costruzione di due termovalorizzatori e di altri impianti pubblici per il trattamento, con l'obiettivo prioritario dell'aumento della raccolta differenziata, conclude la nota."Esprimo il mio ringraziamento al Presidente della Regione Siciliana Schifani per il contributo straordinario, su proposta dell'Amministrazione, al Comune di Palermo per il contrasto all'emergenza rifiuti e che il Governo della Regione depositerà all'Ars sottoforma di emendamento in vista della manovra in fase di approvazione - dichiara il sindaco Roberto Lagalla -.
